Icaros Desktop - updates | Last month Paolo Besser released version 1.3.3 of Icaros Desktop. Now there are 3 patches available with many improvements for version 1.3.3. Changes: Improved driver for GMA chipsets. Improvements for Wanderer, Icons, LiveUpdater, Italian translation and AmiBridge. The next release of Icaros Desktop will have a new feature: You can start Amiga 68k games and demos directly from ADF files.

C64 - Voice synthesizer | Jorge Castillo is working on a speech synthesizer for the Commodore C64. A few months ago he made a hardware version with a PIC micro-controller. And now he made a software version using the SID chip inside the C64. The supervisor and SJLoad will be loaded at start up. You can create and reset tasks, switch between them by using the restore key or a SYS call, and you can save or load a task.

ACE128TOS | There is a new video available of ACE128TOS. ACE128TOS is a project to make a new operating system for the Commodore C128. In this demonstration video you can see details of the control panel. You can configure the input devices (mouse, keyboard), the SuperCPU, drivers, screen-resolution and sound. Because the demo was done in the VICE emulator the movement of the cursor is not optimal, it is working correctly on the real Commodore C128.
